Homelessness can take on many different forms. One that is often overlooked are those experience invisible or hidden homelessness. They are temporarily without a permanent home, relying on friends, family, neighbors, or even their cars. Often they lack access to typical resources, and as a result they are hidden from national statistics.

Join us for a conversation with area non-profit leaders to learn more about what this looks like in the region. For example, did you know over 800 youth were identified as at risk of or experiencing homelessness in the Rapid City School District last year?  Imagine trying to do your job or focus in the classroom, while also worrying about where you’ll sleep that night.

Through this panel discussion you’ll learn:

• What is invisible homelessness?
• How does it impact students, employees, and the community?
• What resources are available?
• How you can actively contribute to positive change and be a part of the solution.
